Attorney Jennifier (Jen) C. Smith, brings her wealth of knowledge, extensive domestic violence training, and litigation experience to her practice which is focused on all things that pertain to the family.  She began her law practice as a legal aid attorney working exclusively with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.  During her time at legal aid Jen assisted many clients on their path to achieving independence and freedom. 

As a divorcee, Jen understands that divorce and family law matters are extremely emotional.  She draws from her own personal experiences and works closely with her clients so that they feel understood, supported, and heard.  Her goal is to assist clients in achieving a resolution they are happy with.  She believes this is best achieved by keeping clients informed of all their options and allowing her clients to make the decisions they feel are most beneficial for their families.  Jen is known for her bubbly personality, though she can be a bit of a firecracker at times.  She prides herself on being a person of integrity and treating clients and colleagues with respect. 

A life-long resident of Macomb County, Jen loves Michigan’s fall weather.  When not practicing law, she enjoys attending concerts, taking her Labrador Retriever (Stormy) for long walks, and spending time with her two sons, family, friends and Siamese cat (Ali).
